The perfect place to Elevate your experience

The first time always feels so naughty….

Vanna getting comfortable in the Elevation Lounge

The red door is a nice touch

When we got checked into the hotel we didn’t have time to check out this fabled lounge that people mention online. We rushed up to our room to get dressed for a drag show we bought tickets for to support a local cause in the Phoenix area. On day two of our stay we were able to stop in and check out the place. When you walk down the hallway to the room it gives you a feeling of doing something kind of naughty. Not in a bad way, but more like you know a secret that no one else in the hotel knows about. We purposely booked the hotel because it is a cannabis friendly hotel. This lounge is an added plus because the one in the Lexi in Las Vegas was not completed yet. When we went looking for the lounge the morning of our second day we found out it was only open 1 pm to 9 pm. So we went about our day and came back around 2 pm. Upon entering we were greeted by a young, bubbly, vibrant, and helpful Candace.

Suspect rooms but the customer service is where the hotel shines

If a person can make you feel welcome, then the hard part is done. We were incredibly fortunate to have met Candace. From our first to our last moments of our visit to the Elevations Lounge, she was the bright spot in the room. She told us to find a spot where we could get comfortable and she would bring over tablets to get us checked in. The process was seamless and took less than 3 minutes to complete. Afterwards she explained the layout of the room, the amenities, hours, and answered any questions we had. In this room there are 3 glass coffee tables with various board and card games under them, one high table with games, chairs, and menus to order from the restaurant in the hotel (we didn’t order from them), a lower table with rolling trays and papers on them. Two decent sized televisions adorn the opposite wall of the entry, 3 full sized couches, and a host to help you get the most of your visit. Included in your visit if you stay in a cannabis room is access to the lounge. They do offer monthly membership options and day passes. This room is spacious and if you are worried about smelling like cannabis after your stay in the lounge, don’t be. They have 2 big air purification units installed in the ceiling that pull the smoke up and away from you. Plus they have the AC/Heat going to keep air moving in the room. It does not smell stale or of cigarettes due to them not allowing cigarettes to be used in the building. We made friends with a few fellow smokers in the room. Many were there because they stayed in the hotel. We did get to see a few of the local members while we were there. Most consumed joints, it was only one other person we saw while visiting that used a bong. During our visit we got a chance to use a Studenglass gravity “bong/water pipe” along with a volcano that Candace set up for us. The best part is they clean it all up and put it away…….. Now there is a reason in itself to go join or stop in for the day. Candace provided tons of information about the local area, places to eat, places to get good cannabis, and places to visit that are not tourist traps. When we come back to Phoenix we will definitely be visiting the Elevation lounge again. If you run into Candace after reading this, tell her Hi Neighbor sent you and leave her a tip as well!
